MBI Cafe: What's your go-to drink at the MBI Cafe? For MC student Seynabou Sylla, it's the caramel macchiato but as you’ll see, working at the MBI Café on the Rockville Campus is more than just making coffee! While teaching Dr. Williams how to make her favorite drink, Seynabou shares the business knowledge she's gaining through the Macklin Business Institute. Seynabou says: "Working at the MBI Café is more than just a job—it's an opportunity to make a real difference. The money we earn doesn't just stay in-house; it helps fund incredible projects like Raptor Tank and One Hen. Through One Hen, we provide small loans to help people in developing countries grow their businesses, which can be a lifeline for their communities. Being a part of this has not only given me invaluable real-world experience but also shown me how business can have a positive impact on a community.”
