Brought to you by Montgomery College, Worksource Montgomery and Montgomery County Government. This FREE intensive 5-week, 60-hour program is designed to equip participants with the essential skills needed to excel as fiber optic and wireless antenna installation field technicians. A wireless technician starting rate is at $21/hr.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

All steps must be completed in sequence to ensure program enrollment

1. Sign up for WorkSource Montgomery’s Orientation:

2. Attend 5G Broadband Bootcamp Information Session: Session date will be provided after orientation. 
3. Complete Montgomery College Registration form: Registration link provided after completing steps 1 and 2. 

The 5G Broadband Job Training Bootcamp is 100 percent funded by the U.S. Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration through an award for $1,000,000

Apprenticeship Opportunities Montgomery College, in partnership with local employers, offers "earn while you learn" apprenticeship programs in high-demand fields. These programs combine on-the-job experience with related technical instruction provided by the college. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED.
