Governance at Montgomery College

Governance at Montgomery College

We are dedicated to maintaining successful operations at Montgomery College through college-wide inclusion of input and feedback from all College stakeholders.

The Montgomery College participatory governance process allows all members of the college community to provide input and make recommendations for institutional improvements.  It also provides structures through which feedback and recommendations are considered when making important decisions.

Comment on the Governance Constitution Amendment

ARTICLE VI: AMENDMENTS

Section A: Amending the Constitution

The College Council is amending the Constitution (PDF, Get Adobe Acrobat PDF Reader - Link opens in new window) to reflect and update the document based on organizational and unit name changes. This update is not a change to the governance structure but rather a reflection of updates since its original drafting in 2014. The Constitution allows the proposed amendment changes to be posted on the governance website and distributed via Montgomery College email to all college community members for comments. Please submit your comments by Monday, 03/24/25, using the governance inquiry box on this webpage.
