Cosmetology Continuing Education
The Maryland Board of Cosmetologists now requires all Cosmetology-focused licensees to complete six hours of approved continuing education as a condition of license renewal. The Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR), now states the requirements for licensees in COMAR 09.22.04.03new window.
The effective date for licensees to come into compliance will be January 1, 2026.
