Yes, you will earn a certificate for every class completed and passed plus the corresponding CEUs (Continuing Education Units).

No, these classes are not transferable towards a college degree.

The first thing you need to do is call the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE), Division of Early Childhood, 240-314-1400 or 240-314-1401 to schedule an orientation. MSDE provides you with a registration to open your family child care. Montgomery College only provides the classes needed as part of the licensing requirements.

Yes, you can get up to 6 credits.
