Montgomery College’s Community Arts area and Department of Visual & Performing Arts are proud to partner with Selenoir Studios to offer Drop-In Figure Drawing Sessions, open to artists of all skill levels. Whether you're a seasoned artist or a beginner looking to improve your drawing techniques, these open studio sessions provide a welcoming and inspiring space to hone your skills.
The sessions will feature live, professional models and a relaxed, self-directed environment for attendees to explore gesture, anatomy, and composition. No instruction will be provided, allowing participants the freedom to develop their own artistic approach.
“We’re excited to provide this opportunity for artists to practice and refine their skills in a supportive community setting,” said John Deamond, Community Arts Program Manager. “Figure drawing is a fundamental practice in art, and we hope to see both new and familiar faces taking advantage of this creative space.”
