The logo must appear on all publications, web pages, and other visual communications developed for the College's external audiences by any administrative or academic department. Choose this logo format for use in Microsoft Office programs, such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Publisher.

MC logos for use in Microsoft Office applications are provided in various formats and sizes within a Word document. The logos pasted into this document have been optimized in a vector, enhanced metafile format for producing high quality print and screen results for Microsoft Office applications.

How to use MC Logos

To insert the logo into a Microsoft Office application document, follow these steps:

  1. Open this Word document then click on the desired logo
  2. Copy and paste the desired logo into your other document
  3. Press the shift key while resizing the logo to lock the aspect ratio
  4. Close the original document without saving

MC logos in print format (vector EPS) are for use within professional design applications, such as InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop for any media that is printed. Choose this format for logo requests from design and print vendors for printing publications, advertisements, signage, or specialty and promotional items.

Logos for the Web

Choose this logo format for use on web pages. PNG formats have a transparent background for positioning over color.

Montgomery College logos in PNG file formats are for use in web design and online media. The PNG format of the logo is available with a white background or a transparent background. Choose the transparent background for positioning the logo over a color background of gray or purple. Note: Please do not save the PNG logo in JPEG format. The JPEG format alters the RGB (81,35,127) and Hex (#51237F) values of the Montgomery College purple; whereas, the PNG format retains these values.

How to Save to Your Computer

  1. Hover over each logo for a description of the logo.
  2. Click on the logo you would like to use.
  3. The logo will open in a new browser window.
  4. In the new browser window, right click on the logo. Select "save as" to save it to your computer.
