Physical Wellness
Maintaining physical wellness and self-care is paramount for college students’ academic success. The College provides several wellness activities, including exercise classes led by certified instructors, healthy eating challenges, and flu vaccinations at no cost to students. These programs specifically address being active and staying healthy.
Join this introductory yoga class on Zoom to learn the basic poses, discover your inner strength, and find a productive and healthy way to deal with stress. Have lots of fun along the way while doing something good for yourself. This class is taught by Prof. Deborah Stuart, an adjunct English professor at MC. Feel Good Fridays for five weeks at 3 pm. - Saturday, November 9, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. - follow up with a physician to go over your screening results, in addition eye screenings and dental screenings will occur on this day.
This clinic is established with a partnership with Montgomery County Public Health Services to address the need for accessible STI and HIV screenings for improved health of MC students. This is an opportunity for education, support, and access to additional resources. The screenings will happen every week on Tuesdays on GT, RV, and TPSS campuses as a walk-in service on a first-come, first-served basis.

In the Safe & Savvy: Empowering Your Sexual Health virtual workshop, join a dedicated health educator from Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington (PPMW) to dive into essential knowledge for optimal sexual health and STI prevention.
