TECH Prep Intensive

TECH Prep Intensive, CTS161, Crn#34149, January 6 to January 24, 2025, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (30 hours) Rockville Campus

Preparatory training for the EEI TECH test (Technical Occupations Selection System).  This test is used to assess aptitude for technical jobs at electrical utility companies.  Typical examples include Testing/Relay Technician, Communication Technician, Design Technician, Chemistry Technician, Distribution Technician, Instrument & Control Technician, Electrical Technician and similar.  Weekly meetings include guided practice and discussion.  10 hours per week, 3 weeks.  Assessment level: ENGL 101, MATH 165; Corequisite: ENES 100 or consent of instructor.
