Montgomery College to Host a Public Dialogue to Discuss the Community-Informed Policing Program on Thursday, Sept. 5

WHAT: Montgomery College will host an in-person community dialogue for Montgomery County police officers to engage with members of the community. The Community-Informed Policing Program at Montgomery College provides training and education for Montgomery County police officers newly graduated from the Public Service Training Academy. The program is dedicated to preparing officers for policing in an ever-changing and diverse social landscape and gives an opportunity to explore those topics key to healing the relationship between law enforcement and the most vulnerable communities served.
Remarks for the community dialogue will be given by Joseph Hooks, the founder and director of the 480Club of Montgomery County.
WHEN: Thursday, September 5, from 2:30 - 4 p.m.
