EARLY COLLEGE APPLICATION (for 10th graders)

VIRTUAL MIDDLE COLLEGE INFO SESSION (for 9th graders)

JUMPSTART TO COLLEGE (Individual Courses for 9-12 graders) Winter/Spring Registration Info:
- JUMPSTART INFO SESSION: Thursday, October 24th, 7pm. Go to the Jumpstart page to sign up to attend
- Winter general registration begins on October 14
- Spring general registration begins on November 4

Dual Enrollment allows qualified students to be fully admitted and enrolled at Montgomery College while completing high school.
Students will earn a college degree through our early college or middle college programs or earn individual college credits through a Jumpstart to College pathway, all while still completing their high school diploma requirements.
Students are registered for standard college courses taught by Montgomery College professors on our campuses, online or at select high school sites.

Jumpstart to College
Jumpstart to College enables students to be admitted and enrolled in college courses at MC, earning college credit while still in high school. Qualifying MCPS, private, out-of-county and homeschooled students may take one course or a pathway of courses that allows them to continue at MC or transfer credits after HS graduation.
Earn a College Degree Now!
MCPS Students will simultaneously earn a college degree and HS diploma by the end of their 12th grade year.

Options for MCPS Students: As a MCPS student, there are many dual enrollment options available to you. Students from 9th to 12th grade may enroll at MC and take just one course, or enough to earn a college degree while still in high school.
Private School Student?
Options for private school students: As a private school student there are many dual enrollment options available to you. Students from 9th to 12th grade may enroll at MC and take just one course or enough to earn significant credit towards a college degree while still in high school.
Home Schooled Student?
Options for home schooled students: MC requires that any home schooled high school student provide verification from their local school system that they are receiving home school instruction.
