Soccer for Peace
Join us for the annual Soccer for Peace event, where we celebrate peace, unity, and
the power of sport to bring people together. This event is free and open to all students,
faculty, and staff. Through friendly soccer matches, we honor our college’s diversity
and commitment to inclusion in a fun, lively atmosphere. Between games, participants
and spectators can gather to enjoy refreshments and pizza, fostering connection and
community spirit.
This special event was founded by Professor Sally McClean in memory of her late husband,
inspired by the "One Day, One Goal" initiative and the Global Peace Games. Whether
you are playing on the field or cheering from the sidelines, come and be a part of
this meaningful celebration of peace and unity at Montgomery College. Stop by before
or after class to support this important cause and enjoy the excitement!
