
Robert E. Parilla Performing Arts Center
The Robert E. Parilla Performing Arts Center is the hub of cultural activity at the
Montgomery College Rockville campus. For the 2024 – 2025 season, patrons can select
from a wide variety of performances including music, drama, dance, and comedy. Discover
our Guest Artist Series, Saturday Morning Children’s Series, the College Performing
Arts Series, and the College Music Series.

The String Queens (TSQ) is a dynamic trio blending classical, jazz, and contemporary sounds. With performances at venues like Carnegie Hall and The Kennedy Center, TSQ inspires audiences with their soulful music. Notable appearances include the “We Are One” Inaugural Concert and a performance at Wimbledon.
Tickets: $25 Regular, $23 Seniors, $5 Students with valid MC ID

Tuesday, September 9, 2025, 7:30 p.m.
Marlee Matlin, an Oscar-winning actress and advocate, inspires with her journey and activism for diversity and accessibility. She made history as the youngest Best Actress winner, earned four Emmy nominations, and became the first Deaf director of a network TV drama. Matlin continues to break barriers and redefine success.

The Saturday Morning Children’s series is designed for shorter attention spans and introducing children to the fun and magic of live theatre.
The Montgomery College Music Department presents a variety of free concerts performed by Montgomery College students, faculty, and guests.
