After you create or rename folders to meet your needs, you can move messages among them as necessary. By default, all new messages route through your Inbox or into folders for which you have set up filters. However, once the message has been received, you can move it to another folder.
Follow these steps to move messages:
From your Inbox, click the checkbox next to the message(s) you want to move.
Note: You can move messages from any folder except the Draft folder.
From the Move to Folder drop-down menu, select the folder to which you want to move the message.
Note: Your message is moved to the destination folder. To view the message, click the destination folder.
