MC Montgomery Scholars Virtual Information Session

At the information session, you can learn about:

  • Highly Selective Program: The Montgomery Scholars Program is a two-year honors program for high school graduates, offering a strong foundation to complete a four-year degree.
  • Full Tuition Scholarships: Students accepted into the program receive scholarships covering two years of tuition and fees at Montgomery College, making it an affordable start to higher education.
  • Proven Transfer Success: Scholars have successfully transferred to top universities like Yale, Johns Hopkins, Georgetown, and the University of Maryland.
  • Unique Curriculum: The program features an interdisciplinary first-year core blending history, literature, and world music, followed by a capstone project and honors seminar in the second year.
  • Tight-Knit Community: Scholars enjoy a close-knit community, with opportunities to connect through retreats, picnics, service learning, and the annual Scholars Colloquium.
  • Expert Faculty and Support: Students work with accomplished faculty and dedicated counselors who provide academic guidance, personal support, and help with transferring to four-year schools.
