Financial Aid Award Notification
2008 - 2009

Dear Student:

Your estimated financial aid award package for the 2008-2009 academic year is availabe for viewing directly on the web.

Please note that your Financial Aid Awards do not include Stafford Loans or Federal Work Study employment. You may contact the office directly for application forms to participate in these programs. The amounts of aid listed are based on your demonstrated need and your eligibility for aid and our available funding. All awards are based on full time study (12 bill hours each semester). If you attend less than full time each semester, your awards may be reduced or cancelled. You must attend your classes to receive financial aid. You are responsible for paying any tuition and fee charges not covered by financial aid. If you receive a Pell Grant at a school other than Montgomery College during the academic year covered by this award, your award may be adjusted or cancelled. Notification of your award updates and any required adjustments will be posted on MYMC.

You are not required to return the award letter to receive the financial aid awards. However, we would appreciate written notification from you of any declined financial aid so we may award these funds to other students.

The AWARD CONDITIONS contains important information about your financial aid. Please read it. If you have any questions about this information or the effect of part-time enrollment on your financial aid, contact the financial aid office.

Sincerely,
The Office of Student Financial Aid
