Temporary Intermittent Closures of ADA Parking Spaces East Garage at TPSS
Due to ongoing improvements of the East Garage at the Takoma Park Silver Spring campus there will be intermittent closures of the ADA parking spaces on the first floor of the garage.  This project is expected to last for the duration of the Fall 2024 semester.  Persons with valid ADA placards or tags may park in Faculty/Staff parking if the ADA spaces are full or not accessible.  If further assistance is needed, please contact the Office of Public Safetynew window.
Elevator Outages

The following elevators are out of service:

  • Partial outage - elevator 2 in the Long Nguyen and Kimmy Duong Student Services Center (SV) building at the Rockville (RV) campus.  The stairwells are open, the first floor has accessible entrances, and elevator 1 is in service.  Expect delays accessing floors 2-4 and the basement via the elevator.  (11/4/2024)

Welcome to the MC Office of Disability Support Services (DSS). Montgomery College is committed to radical inclusion and creating learning environments that are accessible and inclusive for all students, including those with disabilities. Accessibility is not only required by law; it is the right and smart thing to do.

DSS leads the effort to promote full participation and equal access to educational opportunities, programs and campus activities. DSS provides accommodations and support services for students with disabilities and educates the larger College community on disability related issues. When we celebrate and empower diversity at Montgomery College, we recognize and value disability as a distinct aspect of our diverse community.

DSS also ensures that the College complies with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act 2009 as Amended, in a partnership with students, faculty, and staff to identify and remove barriers so MC's campuses, programs and course are accessible and inclusive.

Students self-identify and are encouraged to contact DSS as soon as possible after admission to the College.
