Our Programs
Our WorkPlus, English, and Job Training programs provide opportunities for adult ESOL students to improve their English language skills and work toward gainful employment in the American workplace. Students must attend a registration and orientation session to learn about the programs, possible career options, and be tested for their level of proficiency in English.
Notice: COVID-19new window. While vaccination is not required for campus, it is still recommended. However, students and employees participating in clinicals, externships, internships or other programs at off-campus locations are subject to the requirements of the off-campus site and may be required to provide proof of vaccination.

There are three different programs that offer ESOL and a job skill, depending on your interests and current English language skill level:
These classes are the best starting place for students who have a high school diploma, equivalent, or GED®, and need more practice with their English skills.
- English in the American Workplace
These classes are perfect for students who know which field they want to go into, and have at least high intermediate English language skills. Improve your language skills and learn a trade.

Certification exam prep classes
Job Training for English Language Learners courses are perfect for students whose English language skills are at least high intermediate. These courses prepare students to earn nationally recognized certification.
- Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA) Training for ESOL Students
- Phlebotomy Technician Training for ESOL students
- IT Network Training for ESOL students
- Certificate for Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT)
