Our program provides child care training services including certification courses, continuing education, and onsite-training to meet the education requirements of operating a family center-based child care facility, earn clock hours and CEUs as part of your licensing requirement, or prepare you for applying for the CDA and/or MSDE credentials. 

Informational, innovative, and inspiring, our courses help early childhood educators foster their love of learning and improve their instructional skills. Our courses will enhance your professional skills while working with young children.

Early Childhood Certificates

These courses meet the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE), Division of Early Childhood established requirements.  MSDE requires lead teachers to have a high school diploma or GED, be at least 19 years old, and have one year of experience working under supervision.

On-Site Early Childhood Education Training Available

Most of the Early Childhood Education classes in English and Spanish can also be offered as customized/contract training classes to fit the needs of your organization. All of these classes meet the Maryland State Department of Education Training requirements. We provide CEU certificates for successful course completion. The Early Childhood Education Hub

The purpose of the club is to help students reach their goals to be early childhood educators by networking with one another, serving the early childhood community, and building hands on experiences with young children. Earn PAUs.

Meetings are on the first Friday of each month during the academic year on the Rockville Campus at 7 p.m. in 152 SC.
