The Math and Science Learning Center (MSLC) is located in the Catherine and Isiah Leggett Math and Science Building (LB Room 101), on the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus. We provide educational services and assistance for students enrolled in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Computer Science courses. Included in these services are staff and student assistants who help you with your questions about content in those courses. You must have an MC ID to use materials in the Math and Science Learning Center.
The MSLC staff directs students to online resources, and provides supplemental software, physical models and microscopes and slides that support course material. The MSLC functions as a supportive environment where students can receive academic assistance, study independently, or collaborate with fellow students to understand and master science coursework.
Our goal is to empower students to develop successful study habits, become inquisitive independent learners and to succeed in their STEM classes.
